Should animals be kept in the zoo?
Recently we have had a discussion about whether animals should be kept in the zoo, about which our opinions are varied.
Some of us argue that the zoo is a safe place for endangered animals. It also provides a good chance for people to learn more about wild animals. Besides, it can help to prevent endangered animals from dying out.
However, others are against keeping animals in the zoo. They argue that animals have little freedom in the zoo. Some animals are being badly treated. Worse still, being kept in cages for a long time may cause them to lose their ability to live in the wild.
