湖北省武汉市高齐云选译Beijing’s Palace Museum announced1in an article that the Hong Kong Palace Museum in the West Kowloon Cultural District of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is going to open in late June2022.

In2012,the Palace Museum signed an agreement2with the Leisure and Cultural Services Department i
n Hong Kong.In May2018,the groundbreaking ceremony3for building the Hong Kong Palace Museum was held in the city’s West Kowloon Cultural District.
2012年，故宫博物院与香港康乐及文化事务署签署了一项协议。2018年5月，香港故宫博物院的奠基仪式在该城市西九龙文化区举行。
Covering30,500square meters,the museum will have7,600square meters of space used for gold,bronze and jade4items,paintings and ceramic5objects,as well as the life in the imperial court6.Other museum facilities7will be a400-seat theater,activity rooms,a restaurant and shop.
博物馆占地3.05万平方米，将有7600平方米的空间，专门用于陈列黄金、青铜、玉器、绘画和陶瓷制品，以及宫廷生活展览，其他博物馆设施将包括一个400座的讲演厅，活动室、餐厅和商店。
Since2005,the Palace Museum has been working hard at digitizing8its collection.Most of the museum’s first-class cultural relics9were digitized by2008and image10collection of second-class cultural relics started.By2020,the Palace Museum has digitized more than628,000 cultural relics.

时文阅读从2005年开始，故宫博物院一直致力于将藏品数字化。到2008年，博物馆一级文物大部分实现数字化，二级文物基本图像采集工作已开始。到2020年，故宫博物院已数字化文物达62.8万余件。 From 1949to 2019,there were 456million visitors to the Palace Museum,while visits from 1979to 2019alone were 388million.And it is 85.14percent of the total number of visits.In 2019,there are more than 19.33million visitors to the Palace Museum.从1949年至2019年，故宫博物院共接待游客4.56亿人次，而仅1979年至2019年的参观量就达到3.88亿人次，占总参观量的85.14%。2019年，故宫博物院接待游客超过1933万人次。
